The Elora Mill Hotel & Spa Wedding Photographer

Posted on

As a wedding photographer, there are certain venues that we love to shoot our weddings. The Elora Mill Hotel & Spa is one of those venues. I could shoot here every weekend and be very happy and challenged creatively.

The staff, food and customer service is exceptional and you will love it too.

  • How and Where did you start your day……. did you wake up together? We stayed in the “Solarium” suite at Elora Mill Hotel and Spa. The best decision as it had the best view while we got ready for the day.
  • Why did you choose that ceremony space? Name 3 words to describe your inspiration for your theme, style or decor? We wanted a space that looked romantic and intimate for our small wedding. Elora Mill was the perfect venue for our fairytale but laid back wedding.

  • What do you remember walking down the aisle?Don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry… at least not yet. Walking down the aisle with my mom and dad was one of the most memorable part of this ceremony. Knowing that we have their full support on our newest journey.
  • Did you incorporate any cultural or religious traditions in any part of your day?We performed an Albanian tradition “shoe ceremony” and the traditional Filipino “money dance”.
  • What were the florals like in your wedding? Did you use flowers throughout the entire day? Elaine from the “From the Potting Shed” did such a wonderful job at delivering our “simple yet romantic” vision for both the ceremony and reception. The flower decor complemented the venue’s charm.
  • What 3 things helped nail your decision about your wedding venue?Elora Mill looked so romantic. The staff were so incredible and made our wedding planning amidst all the ever-changing Covid restrictions, so smooth and enjoyable. Elora Mill is just hands down so beautiful and picture perfect covered in snow.
  • Most memorable moments from your wedding day?The snow all over Elora made for amazing and memorable photos. It was cold but that didn’t bother us as we had such amazing photographers and videographers to capture our day.
  • Did you personalize your day in any way such as food trucks, entertainment etc. N/a
  • How and why did you choose your wedding photographer to capture your memories?I found Frances on instagram and her photojournalistic style just spoke to us. Her energy and creativity made two very awkward individuals enjoy being photographed.
  • If you could use 3 word to describe the theme of your day what would they be?Romantic, intimate, and simple
  • Comments / Tips about your venue for future couples? The staff are exceptional.
