A greek extravaganza at King’s Riding Golf Club in King City.
The wedding day began with preparations photos for both the bride and the groom before heading into Toronto for the Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony. As the bride and groom left the church showered in confetti by all the guests they boarded a bus heading for the reception. King city was only a 45 min. drive from Toronto and a great opportunity for the bride and groom to celebrate with all the family and friends during the drive.
Family photos began as soon as we arrived and then we asked the couple for a few minutes alone even though they didn’t want a portrait session. I wanted to get them a few portraits at the venue and give them a few minutes alone as well as it can be a very busy day.
But, my couple was adamant that they wanted more photos with their guests and a completely journalistic style capture of their wedding day. Of course, I granted them that request and followed them to cocktail hour. After all, it’s their wedding day and not a photo shoot and I will capture it however they wish. I will also do my best to get journalistic portraits of them throughout the night paparazzi style.
