A documentary style wedding at Mildred’s Temple Wedding.
Before heading to Mildred’s Temple Wedding for the ceremony and reception, we arrived at the couple’s townhouse around 2PM to start their wedding day coverage. Documenting the wedding day was going to start with preparations of the bridal party. The bride was already in hair and makeup when we arrived which is perfect timing in order for us to capture all her details before she is ready to get into her gown. Melissa headed upstairs to the groomsmen and I stayed with the bride. I photographed her dress, ring, shoes and all her accessories and waited for her to get into her gown. She had 2 girlfriends who were standing up with her on this chilly day and I just found out they would all be wearing leather jackets as well. I loved that idea!
The bride was helped into her dress and laced up tight before the veil went on and we then headed outside to meet up with the boys for the bride and grooms “first look”. Then, we all got into vehicle’s and headed to the park down the street for photographs before moving to a bridge to capture the Toronto Skyline and then to Liberty Village for our final stop.
This group was amazing and so easy to photograph which is a blessing on such a cold fall day. Everyone was in a good mood and pleasant to work with and excited to get to Mildred’s Temple Kitchen for the ceremony and reception. This was an intimate restaurant wedding and Mildred’s Temple Kitchen was an exceptional venue. The staff was accommodating to us the photographers which was a treat and a pleasant surprise. The food was fantastic and the service incredible. Cocktail hour was so much fun and I heard nothing but great things from everyone. I would love to come back to Mildred’s Temple Kitchen for another wedding.
