The Club at Bond Head Wedding Photo of Bridesmaids
Photographing the bridal party at The Club at Bond Head
The location, the light and the personalities of my subjects dictate the photos I take.
The lovely lady who drove us around the golf course asked me if I wanted to go to the tunnel because nobody ever wants to go to the tunnel for photos. I said "heck ya" please please take me to a tunnel all day long. Personally, I want to give my clients images that are different and not the same as everyone else. I photographed the bridal party and the bride groom photos at this tunnel location.
This wasn't a barn wedding ceremony but it started to rain right after their ceremony and Ball's Falls has many different buildings on the property to use for photos so we started at this cute barn with bridesmaids portraits. This is usually my first photo where i'll send all the ladies to the location i've chosen and just ask them to make the dress perfect for a portrait. This is the picture before the picture......the" in between moments" we photograph all day long.
These sisters wanted a photograph on the little bridge at the ceremony site of The Erin Estates Wedding. I asked them to site down while I found a location to shoot from and took this photo while they were sitting chatting.
Photographed by one of my associate photographers, this photo is another example of a camera aware portrait that is not posed but photographed in motion with the bridesmaids in The Blue Mountains
On this beautiful, dark moody day the girl laughed together on the pier while I directed them for a few different photographs.
Battlefield Park in Hamilton is where we headed for the bridal party photos. I started with the girls while the boys were being photographed by my second shooter. This photograph was created when we were done with portraits and I just asked them to walk towards me. My couples get variety in every part of the day.
