The photo above is a great representation of the bridal suite. It's gorgeous, spacious, tastefully decorated all white with a big beautiful gold framed mirror. The room has storage, a bathroom and a stunning Juliet balcony.
I have photographed brides in this room many times, but the one time I showed up and the bride and her brides maids arrived from the salon instead of having hair and makeup done on site truly allowed me to photograph this room in all it's splendor.
Normally, as photographers we arrive at the tail end of hair and makeup and the room is a disaster and cluttered with hair and make up vendors and all that they bring with them. Not to mention the girls arrive and keep all their belongings in this room as well.
When you and your bridesmaids arrive on site, go upstair and pick any room except the bridal suite to have hair and makeup done. Keep all your bags and purses, clothes, decor and gowns in that room as well.
Keep the bridal suite pristine with only the wedding dress hanging, so that when I arrive I can get started getting your beautiful details photographed in that room and then when you're ready to get dressed you will have a stunning space for getting ready with your girls without any clutter in your images.
The groomsmen need more room and I highly recommend the main level bar and library room for the boys. The same goes for getting ready, have all the boys bring their things and suits into the bar room and when the groom is ready to get dressed he can move into the library. The light is stunning in the library for beautiful, moody textured images. The bar area has a lot more light and ideal for photographing the groomsmen all together as they get dressed.
We love going to Graydon Hall Manor any time of year for any size wedding or event.
