When I found out they wanted to do an aviation related pre-wedding engagement photography session I was elated. I've worked at the airport for many many years and had the clearance already. I knew this would instantly make it easier for us to make this happen as I had some connections I could reach out to.
The groom was a pilot and the bride worked in the terminal which is of course how they met, but that didn't mean they would be able to get into a hangar and take photos with an aircraft. We had a lot of details to take care of and a lot of permissions to apply for.
We finally got it all sorted out and were allowed access with supervision into one of the hangars and luckily an aircraft was present in the hangar for us to use.
