This was our first time at Albion Falls in Hamilton and we didn't know what to expect. It was crowded with people playing in the hot summer sun trying to stay cool. The falls was full of activity and very difficult to get photos with a private setting.
After spending an hour down at the bottom we made our way back up to the top and noticed how the sun was reflecting perfectly in the creek that fed Albion Falls. I asked my couple if they would mind getting in the shallow creek and sitting on a rock. Since I was elevated where I was standing it was the perfect opportunity to grab a landscape photo from a different vantage point. This was also the end of the engagement session and they were already wet from playing in the waterfall.
This is another view using the street overpass. The creek was came through this tunnel and flowed down the waterfall. Most people are so excited to get down to the cascading water that they overlook all the photo opportunities at the top especially with the gorgeous golden hour light we had to play with.
This location has now been fenced off because of safety issues, but I'm so happy I got to it before they locked it down.
